We host thesis projects at Master level in Computer Science and Interaction Design. The projects are an excellent way for us to become acquainted with talented new developers and designers, and is a valuable part of our recruitment process. The thesis projects have recently been predominantly in software development, computer vision, and interface design, but we are open to other suggestions.

Students that conduct their thesis projects at Codemill become part of one of our development teams for the duration of their studies, and are encouraged to spend a good share of their working day at our office and to partake in our social activities. We try to make sure that everyone has a desk of their own at our new Umeå office Öst på Stan. If you prefer to work from home some days of the week, that is also fine since we have a hybrid workplace.  

Although it’s never really too late to reach out, unless you have actually finished your project, it is a good idea to be proactive as we receive many requests, so we suggest that you get in touch as soon as you can so there is room for planning before you are due to start your project. We encourage female students to apply. 

Since we have filled the positions for the spring, we are currently accepting applications for the fall semester of 2023.
